CPDR and PAITHOM sign MoU

Centre for Peace, Development and Reforms (CPDR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pak Austrian Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management (PAITHOM), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 22 Oct 2015. It is decided that both organizations will conduct joint training and workshops in the field of Tourism in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.  The MoU was signed by Mr. Ershad Mahmud, Executive Director CPDR and Mr. Hurmat Yab Khan, Chief Instructor of PAITHOM.

Capacity Building and Skill Enhancement Program For the Promotion of Tourism

Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) appeared on the map of tourism very recently.
The aggravating law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, unsafe travel on the Karakoram Highway and proximity of AJK with Islamabad are the key factors which have rendered it a natural tourist destination in recent years.
